Background & Research Interests
I'm Matteo Ferro, I'm currently doing a PhD in the Doctoral Program for Population Health at Helsinki University supervised by Andrea Ganna.
I'm also a member of the DSGE Lab at the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM).
My current projects focus on:
(1) Understanding medication purchase and prescription behavior determinants
(2) Exploring the application and transferability of EHR prediction models
More broadly, I am interested in how different data types and methodological approaches can improve public health outcomes.
I love reading scientific literature and I write about these topics in my blog Health Data Science
